Morgan Liu-Packard’s rich musical background and ongoing studies inform his compassionate, student-centered teaching approach. He studied jazz saxophone at the New England Conservatory, toured internationally performing electronic music, and has extensive experience in community-based ensembles and experimental music and performs jazz and Balkan music regularly in the Boston area . Currently studying the Dalcroze method, Morgan incorporates its emphasis on rhythm, movement, and holistic musicianship into his teaching. Whether teaching saxophone, accordion, or jazz improvisation, he prioritizes helping students build core skills they can use throughout their lives, in any musical context.
